In a 190 million pound case, the Supreme Court cancelled PTI founder Imran Khan’s bail. The Chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed an appeal against this decision.

The Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) bail ruling was challenged by the NAB chairman in an appeal.

The head of the watchdog against corruption pleaded with the court to hear an appeal against the Islamabad High Court’s ruling (IHC).

“The NAB chairman begged the court in a writ partition that the founder PTI’s bail decision be annulled.”

PTI founder Imran Khan was granted bail by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on May 25, in relation to a £190 million Al-Qadir Trust lawsuit, in exchange for one million rupee surety bonds.

The case was heard by Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangir and Chief Justice Aamir Farooq of the IHC on a divided bench.

Imran Khan, the founder of the PTI, must be released from Adiala Jail, according to the ruling of the IHC.

Additionally, the PTI founder was declared not guilty in two vandalism cases that were filed during the PTI Long March by the Islamabad District and Sessions Court. The PTI founder’s petition was denied by the Judicial Magistrate. On the grounds of insufficient evidence, the plea of acquittal is accepted.

Two cases against the PTI founder were filed at the Khanna police station in 2022.
