Pakistan saw 561 terror strikes between January and April of 2024, NA reported.

In 2023, Pakistan experienced 1514 terror attacks, resulting in 572 military personnel being killed and 1292 injured, according to a report submitted to the National Assembly house by the Interior Ministry.

According to a published statement from the Interior Ministry, 358 civilians were also killed and 700 sustained injuries in the terror acts.

A summary of terror attacks from January to April of 2024 was also included in the report. 118 civilians and 167 members of the security services lost their lives in 561 terror attacks that Pakistan documented this year.

Moreover, the attacks injured 253 civilians and 348 members of the security services.

Up to 563 terror attacks happened in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2023, and out of those instances, police were targeted 243 times, according to a report released by the Anti-Terrorism Department (CTD) last year.

The study indicates that Dera Ismail Khan reported the largest number of terrorist occurrences at 132, followed by Khyber with 103 and Peshawar with 89 terror incidents.

The study additionally disclosed that terrorists targeted North Waziristan 86 times and South Waziristan 50 times. Eighty-seven terrorists were detained, according to the report.
