The Punjab government has augmented the “Maryam Ki Dastak” initiative by incorporating 11 additional districts into its expanding network.

This development enables people of 22 districts in Punjab to effortlessly access over 60 government services from home.

Created by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), the program provides a comprehensive array of important services, such as acquiring marriage certificates, learner driving permits, and e-stamping services.

The project seeks to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of government services for the people.

Faisal Yousaf, Chairman of the Punjab IT Board, underscored that the program’s objective is to deliver government services directly to residents’ doorsteps. He further observed that this program has yielded considerable savings in both time and expenses for the residents of Punjab.

“Maryam Ki Dastak” aims to transform citizen engagement with government agencies by facilitating convenient access to services that hitherto necessitated physical visits to many offices.

The project underscores the government’s dedication to digital transformation and enhancing public service delivery.
