Prominent Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik emphasized the need for Muslim unity while praising the warmth and friendliness of the Pakistani people.

“The reception was more warm than expected and the government made very high level arrangements,” he remarked, thanking the Pakistani authorities.

“I thank Allah that the visit to Pakistan was a success,” Dr. Zakir Naik remarked after his trip to Pakistan. I accept the invitation from the Pakistani government, the Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

“I received ten times more welcome in Pakistan than I had anticipated,” Dr. Zakir stated, thanking the Federal Government, Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Punjab Government, Chief Minister Punjab, Provincial Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique, and Governor Kamran Tessori of Sindh for their hospitality. I have traveled extensively throughout the years and have encountered thousands of Pakistanis.

Although Dr. Zakir had previously traveled to Pakistan in 1991, this was his first official visit. “People and religious institutions showed a lot of love,” he continued.

He claimed that although he has traveled to hundreds of other nations, his journey to Pakistan was particularly enjoyable because of the unique expression of love that was found there.

Pakistan is the only nation founded in the name of Islam, according to Zakir Naik. “There should be a close relationship between scholars and politicians, and the rulers and scholars should be on the same page for the country’s development,” he continued.

The significance of putting aside disagreements and uniting under the guidance of the Quran and Sunnah was emphasized by Dr. Zakir Naik.

The Muslim community is suffering difficulties, he said, and efforts should be taken collectively to advance interfaith harmony, peace, and unity.

Pakistan’s dedication to religious harmony and its efforts to uphold international peace were also praised by Dr. Zakir Naik.

“Islam is a religion of peace, love, and brotherhood,” he declared, adding that he has made it his life’s work to spread awareness of Islam’s actual teachings.
