Prime Minister Condemns Mastung Explosion

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has vehemently condemned the bomb explosion at the Girls High School in Mastung and expressed profound sadness over the loss of valuable lives in the event.

The Prime Minister said a prayer for the exalted status of the martyrs and for fortitude for their grieving families.

The Prime Minister has instructed Police and Law Enforcement Agencies to identify and penalize anyone accountable for the explosion.

He also mandated the provision of optimal medical facilities for the injured.

The Prime Minister stated that the terrorist explosion aimed at the school is unequivocal evidence of their animosity towards education in Balochistan; nonetheless, such shameful assaults would not demoralize our nation.

He asserted that such assaults cannot undermine the government’s resolve to advance education and development in Balochistan, and that the government will persist in its campaign against the scourge of terrorism until its total eradication.

The Prime Minister stated that the entire nation takes pride in the police officers and personnel who sacrificed their life for the country.

SIFC Increases Direct Foreign Investment: Investment in the Energy Sector Rises by 120%

The Special Investment Facilitation Council is intended to help Pakistan’s energy sector attract $585.6 million in direct foreign investment in 2024–2025. The amount invested at the same time previous year was $266.3 million.
