Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zedong during his visit to the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad.

Mohsin Naqvi sent condolences on the incident involving two Chinese nationals injured by gunfire from a guard in Karachi. He conveyed profound condolences for the injured Chinese individuals and their families.

The Interior Minister informed the Chinese Ambassador with the specifics of the incident and the advancements in the investigation. He conveyed unequivocal support with the Chinese Ambassador, the Government, and the families of the injured Chinese individuals, and offered prayers for their swift recovery. He stated that we completely concur with the Chinese notion of amalgamating prosperity and security. He stated that all feasible measures are being implemented to guarantee the security of CPEC projects.

The Interior Minister guaranteed that the individuals implicated in the incident will face legal consequences.

SIFC Increases Direct Foreign Investment: Investment in the Energy Sector Rises by 120%

The Special Investment Facilitation Council is intended to help Pakistan’s energy sector attract $585.6 million in direct foreign investment in 2024–2025. The amount invested at the same time previous year was $266.3 million.
