General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, met with Lieutenant General S M Kamr-ul-Hassan, the Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division of Bangladesh, at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

Both parties discussed the changing security dynamics in the region and looked into further ways to strengthen their bilateral military cooperation during their meeting.

They emphasized that the two fraternal nations’ long-term connection must be durable against outside forces, underscoring the significance of a stronger defense relationship.

The Army Chief reaffirmed the importance of working together to advance peace and stability in South Asia and the wider area, while making sure that both countries keep up their contributions to regional security through cooperative defense projects.

The Pakistan Navy Ship PNS Yamama has made port calls in Turkiye at Gölcük and Aksas.

High-ranking representatives of the Turkish Navy and Pakistani Embassy welcomed the ship when it arrived at the port.

Vice Admiral Ibrahim Ozden Kocer, Deputy Commander of the Turkish Navy Fleet, paid a visit to PNS Yamama.

The capabilities of the ship were thoroughly briefed to the Turkish Navy’s Deputy Commander.

PNS Yamama and Turkish Navy ships participated in a naval drill known as Mavi Vatan.
