PM Applauds Slow Declining Inflation Rate

The progressive drop in inflation, which was recorded in January of this year at 2.4 percent, the lowest level in nine years, was hailed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif as very positive.

According to the Prime Minister, the inflation rate was 28.73 percent at the start of 2024, dropped to 4.1 percent at the end of 2024, and then dropped even lower to 2.4 percent in January 2025.

He noted that the quality of life for regular people is being improved by a decline in the cost of necessities, and that the steady decline in inflation was also exhibiting encouraging signs in every area.

The prime minister stated that the government is making every effort to lower inflation even further, enhance the quality of life for regular people, and guaranteenational welfare.

PM Goes at CMH Quetta
