Okays Agriculture Income Tax Bill 2025 for Sindh

The Agriculture Income Tax Law, which proposed that agricultural income up to 600,000 rupees per year be exempt from tax and that the maximum tax rate for income over 5.6 million rupees per year be 45 percent, was adopted by the Sindh Cabinet at its meeting.

Additionally, a progressive super tax has been implemented, with no super tax on agricultural income up to 150 million rupees per year and a maximum of 10% super tax on income beyond 500 million rupees per year.

New Agricultural Income Tax in line with the commitments outlined in the national fiscal pact between the provinces and the Federal Government, the Sindh Cabinet has approved the Sindh Agricultural Income Tax Law, setting the stage for its introduction in the Sindh Assembly.

PM Goes at CMH Quetta

Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, visited CMH Quetta to check on the security personnel wounded in the battle against terrorists in Kalat and other Balochistani districts.
