The Terroists murdered in a botched attempt on the Bannu cantonment had a heavy cache of American-made weapons confiscated by security forces.
There has been renewed evidence of the use of foreign weapons imported from Afghanistan on Pakistani territory.
According to the specifics of these operations, Fitnat Al-Khawarij intended to attack Bannu cantonment on March 4, 2025, but the security forces’ prompt response foiled their malevolent plans.
The M4 Carbine and 40mm vog-25 projected Grenades were among the weapons and ammunition found on the dead Khawarij.
The Security Forces struck the assailants during the operation, killing 16 terrorists, including four suicide bombers.
Security Forces were previously informed on February 28, 2025, that Khawarij were present in the Ghulam Khan Kali Area of North Waziristan.

Security Forces successfully attacked Fitnat al-Khawarij’s hideaway throughout the operation, killing six Khawarij

The deceased Khawarij was also found to have weapons and ammo, including an M24 Sniper rifle, an M16a4, and an M4. These Khawarij killed innocent civilians and participated in activities against security troops.

Security Forces carried out an operation in the Hathala neighborhood of Dera Ismail Khan on February 15, 2025, killing nine Khawarijis and six in the Miran Shah neighborhood of North Waziristan.
The m16/a2 and m4 carbine with scope were among the weapons found during these operations.
In a previous operation in Harnai on February 1, 2025, security forces killed eleven terrorists and demolished multiple hideouts.
Security authorities killed twelve terrorists on the evenings of January 31 and February 1 after thwarting their attempt to erect a roadblock in Kalat’s Mangochar neighborhood.
The M24 Sniper rifle and the M16a4 with night vision, which were used against Security Forces, were among the weapons and ammo found among the terrorists who were killed.
Afghan terrorists attempt to cross the Pakistan-Afghan border and attack both innocent bystanders and Security Forces.
There is proof that the weapons that the United States left in Afghanistan are accessible to terrorists.
