On Monday, a number of locations in Balochistan experienced 4.8-magnitude earthquakes once more.
Balochistan has seen earthquakes of various magnitudes in the past few days. When people in tremor-affected cities came out of their dwellings reciting Kalima Tayyaba, a wave of panic overcame them.
The earthquake’s center was located 76 kilometers east of Zhob and its depth was measured at 30 kilometers, according to the National Seismic Monitoring Center.
Several cities in the province of Balochistan were struck by an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 on the Richter scale.
Late on Wednesday night, Khuzdar and the surrounding districts of the Balochistan province felt an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2.
Fearfully, people emerged from their houses and began reciting passages from the Holy Quran. There have been no reports of property damage or fatalities from the earthquake in any region of Khuzdar.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 43 kilometers, 72 kilometers northwest of Khuzdar, according to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre, Islamabad.
It is important to note that Balochistan has already seen four earthquakes in the last 72 hours. On Tuesday and Wednesday, there were also earthquakes felt in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan. The earthquake’s epicenter lay to the southwest of Quetta.
