The Executive Committee of the Special Investment Facilitation Council has mandated the prompt execution of essential motorway and highway projects in Balochistan, Punjab, and Sindh.
The directions were promulgated during the 13th committee meeting held in Islamabad, presided over by Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal.
The committee specifically concentrated on the development of Highways and Motorways linking ports by leveraging private sector investments via public-private partnerships.
The meeting assessed advancements in multiple initiatives within critical sectors of SIFC.
The committee gave directions for expediting various pending cross-sectoral matters through policy level initiatives and stakeholders’ consultation, utilising the forum of SIFC.
