Anti-narcotics ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan: Naqvi visits the Saudi anti-narcotics headquarters in Riyadh

During his visit to the Saudi Anti-Narcotics headquarters in Riyadh, Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Mohsin Naqvi reached an agreement to strengthen mutual collaboration in the fight against drugs.

Major General Muhammad Al-Qarni, the Director General of Saudi Anti-Narcotics, welcomed Mohsin Naqvi with open arms when he arrived.
The two leaders agreed on putting more effective joint measures into place with bilateral aid and talked about ways to further cooperation in drug control.

The interior minister emphasised that combating drug trafficking is a collective task that no nation can complete on its own. According to him, Pakistan is still dedicated to working with Saudi Arabia to fight drugs.
The interior minister emphasised that in order to guarantee a drug-free environment for coming generations, extensive international measures are required.
Additionally, he extended an invitation to the Saudi Director General of Anti-Narcotics to come to Pakistan in order to deepen these connections.
In order to gain an understanding of Saudi Arabia’s anti-narcotics operations and tactics, Naqvi visited the headquarters and took a tour of the control room and other areas.
During a briefing, Saudi officials promised to provide Pakistan with cutting-edge drug detection tools.
The exchange of information between the two nations’ agencies, including Pakistan’s Anti-Narcotics force, was highlighted as a crucial component of their cooperation.
The briefing revealed that Saudi intelligence had recently led to the capture of two drug suspects in Pakistan, underscoring the effectiveness of their collaboration.

During his visit to District Jail Mandi Bahauddin, Member of the National Assembly Chaudhry Nasir Iqbal Bosaal officially opened a number of development projects, including the recently built jail building.
