Assembly To Begin Provincial Budget Debate Today for Balochistan Budget 2024–24

The Provincial Budget for the upcoming fiscal year was still being discussed by the Balochistan Assembly today.

The policy for implementing development projects has been approved by the Cabinet, according to House Leader Mir Sarfraz Bugti.

The Cabinet has determined that only projects with rapid progress will be eligible for funding releases.

Younis Aziz Zahri, the leader of the opposition, stated that although there are more finances than in the previous fiscal year, the opposition nevertheless demands that all constituencies receive equal treatment in their plans.

The budget, according to Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch of the Opposition Benches, is people-friendly.

The government’s first budget, as well as the development plans included in the new fiscal year budget, allocated funds, transfer of federation revenue, and province revenue, were praised by Mir Ali Madad Jatak, Nawabzada Zarin Magsi, Mir Zabad Riki, and other members of the government and opposition.

Spending, Taxes, Provincial PSDP, and emphasis was placed on enabling the right use of the money held in the 21 budgeted sectors.
