Aleema Khan, the PTI founder’s sister, was disappointed with the government’s negotiating strategy, calling it a joke rather than a real conversation.

She pointed out to reporters outside Adiala Jail that the PTI founder’s tweet is being held responsible for the recent suspension in negotiations.

Aleema Khan explained, “At the request of family members, I retweeted the founder’s tweet.”

This is currently being used as an excuse to put a stop to talks. Even the jail gates could open for serious talks at dawn if the authorities were earnest.

She emphasized further that the actions of the administration show a lack of commitment to using communication to resolve conflicts.
