Aurangzeb Reaffirms Commitment To Structural Reforms When Investors Meet With The Finance Minister

In Islamabad, a delegation from Jefferies Investors, led by Alia Moubayed, paid a visit to Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.
The delegation talked about Pakistan’s current economic reforms, investment climate, and macroeconomic outlook.
In an attempt to improve engagement with international investors, they invited the finance minister to London for the Pakistani Investors Day in May of this year.
Muhammad Aurangzeb emphasized the government’s commitment to fundamental reforms in the areas of energy, taxation, state-owned enterprises, and privatization while highlighting Pakistan’s economic stabilization.
In addition to outlining the government’s proactive approach to budgetary restraint, revenue mobilization, and investment facilitation, he declared that the economy is currently in a quantitatively stable position.
