The protest call from the PTI has been categorically rejected by the people of Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan, according to Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari.
The minister claimed Punjabis did not heed the call while speaking at a press conference in Lahore. Investigators are looking into the presence of Afghans during the PTI demonstration, she said.
While Bushra Bibi left and KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur was subjected to insults and club beatings yesterday, Azma Bukhari reported that PTI workers stayed put.
She said under the present circumstances, media had showed the truth to the people.
No other revolutionary movement in the world, the Minister added, withered out like this.
Additionally, she clarified that Punjab does not lack petrol or other necessities.
