Mr. Bhutto Zardari also gave a speech at the National Prayer Breakfast earlier in Washington.

He emphasized that religion should be utilized to bring people together rather than to drive them apart and that Pakistan and the United States should strengthen their people-to-people ties.

Speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, he described the occasion as a fantastic chance for interfaith harmony.

He also had meetings with members of Congress, but as he is no longer the foreign minister, all the meetings were held in a personal capacity.

Mr. Bhutto Zardari asserted that people should be treated equally, and every Muslim believes in Jesus Christ, adding it was not a national prayer event but a global prayer event.
