On Tuesday, the district and sessions court in Islamabad extended the temporary bail of Bushra Bibi in one case and Imran Khan in six cases, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), until February 25.
Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka heard Khan and Bibi’s bail requests.
Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry, Khan’s attorney, showed up for the hearing.
Regarding Khan’s video connection appearance, the jail administration did not respond.
The assisting attorney claimed throughout the court that there was no video link recording of IKhan’s presence.
Instructing the solicitors to submit their reasons at the subsequent hearing, Judge Majoka said he would decide on the bails this month.
The court then extended Bibi’s temporary bail in one instance and Khan’s in six.
