Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, has emphasised the Army’s dedication to fostering the next generation of citizens.
He urged students to strive for academic success with zeal and arm themselves with the skills required to make a significant contribution to national development during an encounter with students from many Bahawalpur universities.
The Army Chief praised the youth’s crucial role in determining Pakistan’s future and reiterated the Army’s backing for programmes that develop young talent.
General Syed Asim Munir stressed the importance of self-responsibility saying each of us must focus on our own duties and performance instead of engaging in baseless criticism.
According to him, no one can hurt Pakistan as long as strong mothers continue to give up their children for the country and as long as young people are united with the armed forces.
The Army Chief said an organized Illegal spectrum backs terrorism with certain elements providing support to it. He claimed that their bogus narratives are disseminated to thwart any attempts by the authorities to take action against them.
The Army Chief emphasised Pakistan’s blessings, calling it a priceless gift from Allah Almighty, endowed with several blessings.
The audience was asked by General Syed Asim Munir to defend the fundamental principles of society, remember the forefathers, and hold fast to their beliefs.
