Lahore’s civic authorities have been ordered by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to begin desalinating the canal.
During a meeting on the Lahore development project, the chief minister gave the authorities instructions to thoroughly clean the canal and construct a sewage system in accordance with future requirements.
Deputy Commissioner Lahore gave a thorough report on the Lahore development plan at the meeting.
The gathering was informed that the water and sanitation administration would install 450 sewage pipes in the first phase and 780 kilometers of new pipelines throughout Lahore.
The meeting was also informed that Nespak will be able to inspect the project through the “inspector app” and the digital tracking will be possible through Lahore development management information system.
It was reported to the meeting that the Lahore development plan’s transparency has saved 16 billion rupees.
The Chief Minister stated that the quality of development initiatives would not be compromised on this occasion.
