The University of Management and Technology (UMT) teachers and students in Lahore attended a special meeting with Lieutenant General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry, the Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
On this special day, the instructors and students thanked the Pakistan Army for setting up the gathering and conversation.
Faculty and students expressed gratitude to the Pakistan Army for providing them with the chance to speak directly with the DG ISPR. They agreed that the meeting had dispelled all uncertainties and misconceptions regarding the derogatory propaganda directed at the Pakistan Army.
The seminar raised awareness of the coordinated campaigns of fake news and disinformation directed against the military.
Throughout the discussion, the DG ISPR treated every question with the highest dignity and gave thoughtful answers that the participants valued. These workshops, which attempt to dispel myths and close the gap between the youth and the military, should be held on a regular basis, the students said.
There was unanimity among the participants that Pakistan’s youth, particularly students, support the Pakistan Army in its efforts to protect the nation.
