LAHORE: A small girl was hurt in Shahdara after a kite thread got caught in her throat. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken serious notice of the issue.

The CM requested a thorough report from Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore, expressing deep disapproval of the act.

CM Maryam Nawaz directed authorities to ensure the best medical treatment for the injured girl and emphasized the strict enforcement of laws against hazardous kite-flying practices to prevent such incidents in the future.

The people in Pakistan and around the world who are celebrating Nowruz have received greetings from Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

He stated in a statement on Nowruz that the day signifies the arrival of spring and the rebirth of the natural world.

The Prime Minister thanked the communities, observing Nowruz in the country especially the Parsi community, for their important contributions towards the development of Pakistan.

Pakistan has called for the fulfillment of the ceasefire deal signed on January 15th and an end to the genocidal war in Gaza.

Munir Akram, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, urged the 15-member Security Council in New York that Israel must cease its attacks, aggression, and slaughter of Palestinians.
