During KP operations, security forces kill eight militants.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces killed eight militants in two different encounters.

The operations were carried out in Tank and the Tirah Valley on January 12 and 13, according to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

It stated that in response to reports of terrorist activity, the security forces in Tank district carried out an intelligence-based operation.
Own troops successfully occupied the area and killed six terrorists during the operation.

Two terrorists were killed by the own troops in a different battle that happened in the Tirah Valley, Khyber district.

In an effort to eradicate the threat of terrorism from Pakistan, sanitization efforts are being carried out to eradicate any more terrorists who may be present in the area.

LAHORE: A small girl was hurt in Shahdara after a kite thread got caught in her throat. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken serious notice of the issue.

The CM requested a thorough report from Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore, expressing deep disapproval of the act.

CM Maryam Nawaz directed authorities to ensure the best medical treatment for the injured girl and emphasized the strict enforcement of laws against hazardous kite-flying practices to prevent such incidents in the future.
