In an effort to revitalize the national economy and handle the electricity crisis, the government is making efforts, and those efforts are showing results.
In the time since the authorities began their crackdown on electricity theft in September 2023, they have been successful in recovering Rs. 148.27 billion.
More than 115,538 individuals who stole electricity have been apprehended.
Over the course of the past week, a total of 109 individuals were apprehended and a total of Rs. 780.3 million was collected from power thieves across the country.
The authorities are resolute in their determination to carry on with their operations until the theft of electricity is eradicated across the nation.
