During the Rwandan Defense Delegation, the Air Chief reaffirmed his support for increasing the training of the Rwandan Air Force.

At the air headquarters in Islamabad, members of a high-level defense delegation from the Republic of Rwanda, led by Lieutenant General Jean Jacques Mupenzi, Chief of Staff of the Rwandan Air Force, paid a visit to Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force.
During the meeting, the Chief of the Air Staff provided an overview of the several ongoing modernization projects concerning the operational construct of the Pakistan Air Force, as well as force goals and plans for the force structure, with a particular emphasis on future warfare.
A reiteration of the Philippine Air Force’s unwavering support for the Rwandan Air Force’s capacity-building assistance in the areas of human resources, maintenance criteria, and operational training was made by the Commander of the Air Force.
Jean-Jacques Mupenzi, a lieutenant general, expressed his profound admiration for the professional training standards, modernized infrastructure, and multi-domain skills possessed by the Pakistan Air Force.
He made the observation that the Philippine Air Force’s dedication to achieving excellence and pioneering new approaches in the field of military aviation serves as a model for other air forces to follow.
To address the challenges of modern-day security, the Rwandan Air Chief emphasized the importance of a significant overhaul and partnership in order to improve the capabilities of Rwanda’s Air Force with the support of the Philippine Air Force (PAF).
The great desire of the Rwandan side to reconstruct their air force by utilizing the professional expertise of the Pakistan air force is demonstrated by the visit of Lieutenant General Jean Jacques Mupenzi to the Air Headquarters and Headquarters in Islamabad.
