For the amazing contributions that women in Pakistan have made to the advancement of the nation, the National Assembly has passed a resolution that pays a meaningful respect to the women of Pakistan.
Recognizing the tenacity of women in the face of adversity and their unyielding dedication to attaining equality and justice, the Resolution was proposed by Shahida Rehmani on the occasion of the national day for women.
Mather-e-Millat Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, Begum Ra’ana Liaquat Ali Khan, and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed were honored by the women’s Parliamentary Caucus, and the group expressed their hope for a future in which every woman in Pakistan will be able to flourish without fear.
A united commitment to establishing a nation in which women are not just equal partners but also leaders, innovators, and change-makers was reaffirmed by the House of Representatives and Reaffirmed.
