In Dera Ismail Khan, two Pakistan Army troops accepted martyrdom by carrying out a suicide strike on a security force vehicle.

Two security officers were killed after a suicide bomber in DI Khan crashed his car into a convoy of security forces, according to the Pakistan Army’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The district of Kohat is home to 38-year-old Naib Subedar Yasir Shakeel and 34-year-old Sepoy Tahir Naveed, who were killed in the suicide attack.

The ISPR declared that the security forces were committed to eliminating the evil of terrorism and that those behind this despicable attack would face justice.

According to the ISPR, these selfless acts by courageous soldiers will only fortify their determination.

Recall that a few days ago, terrorists attacked the security forces’ checkpost in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, resulting in the deaths of eight soldiers, including two Pakistan Army officials.

Four terrorists were also “sent to hell” last night during an intelligence-based operation (IBO), the ISPR said.

In addition, the statement said that four more terrorists were “successfully neutralised” by the security personnel in the ensuing sanitisation operation. During a different operation in the district, the agency said that it had found five terrorists trying to cross the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

“Two terrorists, Hazrat Umer and Rehman Niaz, were also sent to hell after an intense fire exchange, while three other terrorists were injured,” the statement continued. According to the press release, Pakistan has repeatedly requested that the Afghan government in transition guarantee efficient border management on their side of the border.
