Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has asserted that Pakistan is a staunch advocate for the safeguarding of fundamental rights and will persist in enacting and reinforcing human rights legislation.
He conversed with EU Special Representative for Human Rights, Ambassador Olaf Skoog, in Islamabad.
He emphasised the significance of the Pakistan-EU Dialogue on Human Rights during the conference.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasised the expanding collaboration between Pakistan and the EU in political and economic domains and expressed gratitude for the EU’s ongoing support of Pakistan’s GSP Plus status.
The EU Special Representative commended the prospects of Pakistan-EU relations and acknowledged the ongoing expansion of the cooperative collaboration across all sectors.
