Federal Minister: Government’s first priority is worker welfare and support.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain, the Federal Minister of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Hormony, has stated that Pakistanis working abroad and industrial workers play a vital role in the nation’s development and prosperity by providing remittances.

The Minister emphasized the value of supporting one another during happy and sad times and outlined several government initiatives for the welfare of workers and laborers while speaking at the Islamabad ceremony for the distribution of marriage and death grant checks.

Along with these continued efforts to advance e-commerce, Salik Hussain also brought up the introduction of the Amazon Program for Workers.

According to him, the Workers and Labourers Welfare Fund has disbursed fifteen billion rupees to support the education of their offspring.

500 homes will be allotted to industrial workers this year, and training programs in solar and Amazon technologies will also be started.
The worker welfare fund has been allocated seventeen billion rupees, and projects for affordable housing schemes have already been finished, he added.
