Forecast for Karachi: When can the city expect the arrival of the second monsoon spell?

As a result of the low pressure system that brought about the rain in the port city heading towards Oman from Karachi, Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz says there could be light rain or drizzle in a few locations today.

The sea breeze will return this evening, according to the weather expert, and the next four to five days will have pleasant weather.

Sea clouds could cause drizzle in the morning and at night, when the temperature will be between 34 and 36.

He predicted that starting on July 20, the port city will experience more monsoon rains.

The monsoon rainfall data that was recorded in different parts of Karachi on Tuesday was made public by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

The areas around the former airport (31 mm), Orangi Town (30 mm), and Surjani Town (58.2 mm) in Karachi saw the greatest rainfall.

Rainfall totals for University Road were 19.8 mm, Faisal Base 16 mm, and Saadi Town 15 mm.

Keamari 6.5 mm, Gulshan-e-Maymar 7.4 mm, North Karachi 8.6 mm, and Gulshan-e-Hadeed 10 mm. Malir is 3mm, Korangi 4mm.

Ibrahim Hyderi and Mauripur recorded the lowest rainfall, 2 mm each. According to outdated rainfall statistics, there was 4.4 mm of rain at Malir Halt, 2.5 mm in Korangi, 1.4 mm in Nazimabad, and 0.3 mm at the airport.

The 20th session was called by acting speaker Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channer on January 10 at 2:00 PM, the Assembly secretariat announced in a notification.

By a majority vote, the Punjab Assembly had previously approved a resolution endorsing the 26th Constitutional Amendment.

Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, the Punjab Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, had introduced the resolution, arguing that the constitutional change is an extension of the Charter of Democracy.

Punjab’s law and order is deemed satisfactory by the Apex Committee.

The Punjab Apex Committee was pleased with the state of law and order in the province as a whole on Tuesday.

The chief minister presided over the committee meeting, which was attended by high-ranking military and civil personnel. Among the many agenda items it examined were security and public safety initiatives.
