Human trafficking: 35 authorities implicated in the Greece boat catastrophe are fired by the FIA

In connection with the Greece boat tragedy, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has taken action against its officers involved in human smuggling.

Thirty-five officials have been dismissed from employment, including two assistant sub-inspectors, ten sub-inspectors, and four inspectors.

In addition, 14 constables and five head constables have been let go. Thirteen FIA officers have been charged for involvement in human trafficking.

Hearings on departmental action against these persons were held by the director general of the FIA.

Sialkot and Narowal were among the victims of the Greece Boat Disaster.

According to the FIA, Owais from Sialkot and Shabbir, Zain, and Zeeshan from Narowal were among the people killed in the Greece boat accident.

FIA officers banned from the district for their involvement in the Greek boat tragedy

Following an examination into the recent boat accident in Greece, departmental action has been taken against a number of Federal examination Agency (FIA) personnel and officials who were found to have participated in human trafficking.

A sub-inspector, three ASIs, eleven head constables, and three constables were among the 18 FIA personnel and officials implicated in the case who were removed from the district during the first phase. Additionally transferred is Ali Zaidi, Additional Director (Immigration) at Sialkot Airport.

Gujrat, Gujranwala, and Sialkot were the postings for all of the suspected officers and bureaucrats while a notification of their transfers was sent out. The extra responsibility of Sialkot airport has been assigned to Kartarpur DD Muhammad Nauman.

PM Goes at CMH Quetta
