Mohammad Iqbal Hussain, the high commissioner of Bangladesh to Pakistan, declared that direct flights between the two nations should start in the coming months.

In a meeting with Nasir Mansoor Qureshi, president of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the High Commissioner described the news as a major step that will improve connectivity and strengthen the two nations’ economic and cultural ties.

He added that in order to further facilitate trade and economic interactions, cargo aircraft connecting Dhaka, Karachi, and Lahore would soon start operating.

Hussain emphasized Bangladesh’s dedication to enhancing commercial ties with Pakistan and the simplicity of acquiring Bangladeshi visas online for Pakistani nationals.

Along with highlighting the many chances for businessmen from both sides to sign joint ventures for mutual prosperity, the Bangladeshi official urged both nations to investigate joint ventures and industrial collaborations in order to maximize bilateral benefits.

Hussain pointed out that Pakistan exports items to Bangladesh, including coal, marble, steel, sugar, surgical equipment, cement, dried fruits, pink salt, and milk products.

Pakistan could then import goods like jute and tea from Bangladesh, he suggested, establishing a mutually beneficial commercial relationship.
