Improving Foreign Investment: PM Welcomes Delegation of Foreign Investors

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif welcomed a delegation of foreign investors, led by American billionaire investor Mr. Gentry Beach, to talk about Pakistan’s vibrant investment environment and bright future.

The delegation’s strong interest in investigating commercial prospects in Pakistan was acknowledged by the prime minister during the discussion.

By guaranteeing a favorable business climate, efficient procedures, and strong institutional backing, he underlined the government’s steadfast dedication to assisting international investors.

The prime minister highlighted Pakistan’s distinct attraction as a worldwide investment destination, pointing to its advantageous geographic location, young and skilled labor population, and quickly growing consumer market.

Mr. Gentry Beach expressed his delegation’s excitement to investigate a range of investment prospects in important industries, including as technology, mining and minerals, renewable energy, and infrastructure development, and he praised Pakistan’s enormous economic potential.

This high-level involvement is a reflection of the government’s aggressive attempts to draw in foreign direct investment, promote steady economic growth, and create jobs for Pakistanis.

State Minister Ali Prevaiz Malik, Federal Ministers Muhammad Aurangzeb, Abdul Aleem Khan, Attaullah Tarar, and Sapm Tariq Fatemi were also in attendance, along with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

Mansehra Archaeological Site: 2800-Year-Old Artefacts Discovered Through Excavation

Experts from Hazara University’s Archaeology department have found artefacts in Mansehra’s Kander Bedadi Village that date back about 2800 years.

Under Dr. Shakirullah’s guidance, the excavation process was completed.

The site has yielded historical and cultural artefacts from the Indo-Greek to the British Colonial Period, covering five generations.

A unique look into the region’s multi-layered history, encompassing the Indo-Greek, Parthian, Kushan, Hindu Imperial, early Islamic, and British eras, is offered by the finds.

Iron tools, clay figures, human and animal sculptures, copper coins, and pearls are among the artefacts that were unearthed.

Funded by the Higher Education Commission and the British Council, the project intends to increase awareness of the value of international collaborations in promoting archaeological research, conserving artefacts, and learning more about the site’s historical significance.
