In Doha, the law minister meets with his counterpart from Qatar.

In order to fight corruption and increase transparency, Pakistan and Qatar have pledged to support regional and international initiatives.

In a bilateral discussion held on the margins of the OIC’s second ministerial discussion of anti-corruption law enforcement in Doha, Qatar’s Minister of Justice and Law Minister Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar shared their opinions.

In the areas of judicial and legal reform, fighting corruption, and advancing the rule of law, the two sides talked about a number of ways to strengthen their bilateral collaboration.

The Ministers both agreed that multilateral collaboration within the OIC is becoming increasingly important and promised to keep collaborating to achieve shared objectives.

In times of difficulty, Pakistan and Turkey always stand together: PM

According to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan and Turkey have always supported one another throughout trying times and would continue to do so.

He said that the people of Pakistan joined him in honoring the bravery and tenacity of our Turkish brothers and sisters, who, under the capable leadership of President Erdogan, came out stronger from this strategy, in a post on X marking the end of two years since the devastating earthquake in Turkiye.

Today marks the second anniversary of the February 6, 2023 earthquake in Turkey, which destroyed entire cities and killed around 60,000 people, including in neighboring Syria.

Following the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck at 4:17 am, thousands of residential buildings in southeast Turkey collapsed, killing numerous people in their wake.

Pakistan and Turkey have always supported one another during challenging times and will continue to do so, according to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

In an X post marking the two-year anniversary of the devastating earthquake in Turkey, he claimed that the people of Pakistan joined him in honoring the bravery and tenacity of our Turkish brothers and sisters, who, under President Erdogan’s capable leadership, came out stronger as a result of this tactic.
