Asad Umar’s bail in three May 9 cases was revoked by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday.

After hearing the cases, ATC Administrative Judge Manzar Ali Gul revoked Asad Umar’s temporary release because he was not present.

In cases filed at the Jinnah House Lahore and Askari Town police stations, Asad Umar is accused of damage, assault, and arson.

Asad Umar, a former federal minister, stated last year that he refused to join the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) because he couldn’t bear to leave the PTI.

Reporters outside the anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore heard him deny rumors that he was joining the PPP, calling them “mere propaganda.”

According to Umar, he was in Lahore and did not attend any parties. Additionally, he advised Fawad Chaudhry to cool down and refrain from using strong language.
