The police officer was detained at gunpoint and had his bike, cell phone, and other belongings taken by two suspects on a motorcycle without a license plate near the Malir 15 flyover.
After starting an investigation, the police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against unnamed suspects.
At the M-9 Motorway in Malir, earlier in September 2024, bandits ambushed police officers and took their phones and firearms.
The police officers were on patrol when the thieves attacked and stole from them. The injured sub-inspector, Shehzad, filed a complaint, which led to the case being filed at the Gadap Police Station.
