In Karachi, bus service fares went up.

The Peoples Bus Service in Karachi has seen a massive fare increase declared by the Sindh government, which would further burden commuters.

It is now Rs80 per passenger instead of Rs50 for a travel under 15 kilometers, a Rs30 increase.

However, if the distance is more than 15 kilometers, the passengers will be required to pay Rs 120 every journey.

People who regularly utilize this service to go to offices, schools, and other locations will be financially burdened by the change.

Sharjeel Inam Memon, the Sindh Minister of Information and Transport, countered that the administration makes all of its decisions with the best interests of the people in mind.

According to him, the government offers a daily subsidy of Rs. 5 million. He expressed gratitude to the  Sindh cabinet and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah for their support.

PM Goes at CMH Quetta

Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, visited CMH Quetta to check on the security personnel wounded in the battle against terrorists in Kalat and other Balochistani districts.
