According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Korangi Hassan Sardar, the accused were trained by RAW and were engaged in target killing in Pakistan.

According to the SSP, the suspects who were detained were Khawar Hussain and Jabir, who were providing pictures and details of target killings overseas.

According to SSP Hassan Sardar, the suspects were getting money from a number of overseas accounts. He went on to say that as the investigation is still ongoing, more confessions from the detained suspects are anticipated.

From the RAW agents, the police also took two hand grenades, nine millimeter pistols, and ammunition.

In a related development, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) reported on Monday that it had detained four members of a group that was smuggling illicit firearms into Karachi.

Four members of an interprovincial gang involved in the illicit importation of firearms into Karachi have been apprehended, according to a CTD spokeswoman. They go by the names Ghulam Rasool, Mohammad Yousuf, Gul Hassan, and Farhan alias Ganja.

During the operation, two bikes, ammunition, and four 30bore and two 9mm pistols were found in the arrested people’s possession by the CTD officials.

Officials from CTD claim that the individuals who were detained were involved in illegal operations on Karachi’s streets and had previously been caught and sentenced to prison.
