In Punjab, the PDMA issued an alert for rain and snowfall.

The Punjab deputy commissioners have all received letters from the PDMA spokesperson advising them to exercise caution, as the MET office has forecast severe precipitation and snowfall in the province through April 29.

The province’s other areas, including Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, Hafizabad, Jhang, Khushab, Mianwali, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, and Sahiwal, are predicted to also see rain.

It has also been suggested to the tourists to drive cautiously.

Because rain and snow were predicted, the advisory recommended district administrations to take preventative precautions.

“To guarantee the availability of both small and heavy machinery, district administrations have been issued directives.” Aside from electricity lines, the public was cautioned by the DG PDMA to avoid structures, signboards, billboards, and damaged buildings.

With light rain and a cool breeze in the early hours of Tuesday, the weather in Lahore on April 23 turned nice.

The ombudsman Punjab Nankana Sahib Region held an awareness seminar at Government Captain Hassan Nawaz Shaheed MC High School.
