A total of five newly appointed judges took their oaths of office on Monday, with the ceremonies taking place at two different high courts. On the other hand, the Balochistan High Court welcomed three new members to its bench, while the Islamabad High Court welcomed two new judges.
An oath was delivered to Additional Judge Muhammad Azam Khan and Additional Judge Inam Amin Minhas during a ceremony that took place at the judicial complex in the capital city of Islamabad. Chief Justice Aamer Farooq took the oath.
During this time, Chief Justice Hashim Kakar of the Balochistan High Court administered the oath of office to Justice Asif Reki, Justice Ayub Tareen, and Justice Najmuddin Mengal in Quetta, respectively. The Chief Secretary, Secretary of Communication and Works, and Secretary of Finance were among the senior government officials that were present at the occasion.
A total of fourteen judges are currently sitting in the provincial high court as a result of the appointments made by Balochistan State. This development of judicial capacity in both jurisdictions is marked by these appointments, which reflect a major expansion.
