Alert for heat waves
The heat wave that has engulfed Karachi for the past few weeks has left the city’s residents in agony, and during the next ten days, a notable increase in temperature is anticipated.

The country could see three heatwaves in different cities over the course of the next 25 days, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department’s forecast.

According to the advice, most of the country will experience heatwave conditions from May 21 to May 27, with Punjab and Sindh seeing particularly intense heatwave conditions from May 23 to May 27 due to high pressure in the upper atmosphere.

In Sindh and Punjab, daytime temperatures are “likely to remain 4 to 6 degrees centigrade above normal” from May 21 to May 23, and six to eight degrees Celsius from May 23 to May 27.
