From Doha, Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister, presided over a Zoom meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Privatization.

With a primary focus on the divestment of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited, the committee discussed a number of important matters during the discussion.

The committee approved the reference price for the sale of 60% of the shares of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited, as suggested by the Privatization Commission Board, following extensive deliberations.

Along with Secretary General Shakeel Masood, Joint Secretary Ahmed Zuberi, Finance Secretary Azhar Qazi, Senior Vice Chairman Salman Iqbal, Vice Chairman Mir Ibrahim Rehman, and newly elected Chairman Mian Amir Mehmood, he offered his congratulations.

A bid of ten billion rupees has been submitted by Blue World Consortium for the privatization of the Pan-India Airport (PIA).

A bid of 10 billion rupees has been made by the Consortium to privatize Pakistan International Airlines.

There is only one bid from the Blue World Consortium.

The Blue World City Consortium has been the only group to submit documentation.

Through circulation, the Federal Cabinet will approve the reserve price of PIA.
