Joint Naval Exercise: The Korean and Pakistani Navys Practice Together in the Arabian Sea

Published

on

Joint naval exercises between the Korean and Pakistani fleets have been completed successfully in the Arabian Sea.

The drills, which were conducted by the Korean Navy’s Warship WANG GEON and the Pakistan Navy’s Warship PNS ZULFIQUAR, were designed to strengthen the two fleets’ professional relationship and increase their capacity for combined operations.

The exercises covered a range of naval tasks, including communication drills and tactical movements.

Both vessels were part of the joint marine forces’ task forces (CTF-150 and CTF-151), which are tasked with stopping illicit operations such as drug trafficking and maritime piracy.

The coordinated drills show how dedicated the Pakistan Navy is to maintaining peace and stability in the region.

All conventional and unconventional challenges in the region may still be met by the Pakistan Navy.

This exercise is one of many joint military drills that Pakistan does with other nations, such as Saudi Arabia, China, and the United States.

Interoperability, military collaboration, and regional security are the goals of these exercises.
