Pakistan has advocated for international policies that will help impoverished developing nations make the transition to low-cost energy.
Speaking at a gathering commemorating the “International Day of Clean Energy” at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, Pakistan’s deputy permanent representative to the UN, Ambassador Usman Jadoon, stated that developing nations with tight budgets cannot afford to invest in expensive energy projects without easier access to funding.
