Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zedong during his visit to the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad.

Mohsin Naqvi sent condolences on the incident involving two Chinese nationals injured by gunfire from a guard in Karachi. He conveyed profound condolences for the injured Chinese individuals and their families.

The Interior Minister informed the Chinese Ambassador with the specifics of the incident and the advancements in the investigation. He conveyed unequivocal support with the Chinese Ambassador, the Government, and the families of the injured Chinese individuals, and offered prayers for their swift recovery. He stated that we completely concur with the Chinese notion of amalgamating prosperity and security. He stated that all feasible measures are being implemented to guarantee the security of CPEC projects.

The Interior Minister guaranteed that the individuals implicated in the incident will face legal consequences.

A local merchant reported, “Mustard oil has risen in price by Rs20 per litre, now costing Rs520.”

Different brands of cooking oil were noted to be priced variably in Karachi’s markets, indicative of the prevailing inflationary trend in food products.

The escalation in edible oil prices corresponded with the surging costs of fruits, prompting consumer apprehension around heightened expenditures during Ramadan.

The FIA is expected to apprehend Armaghan on allegations of money laundering.

The FIA team executed a search operation at Armaghan’s apartment, confiscating digital devices, documents, and further evidence.

The agency has acquired records on Armaghan’s online accounts, encompassing his financial transactions, communication data, identification documents, bank statements, and other pertinent documents.

Sources indicated that the FIA team has conducted an informal contact with Armaghan and intends to formally apprehend him shortly. Upon Armaghan’s apprehension, the FIA will initiate a comprehensive inquiry into his purported offenses.

The FIA sources revealed that a copy of arm license against Kamran Asghar Qureshi’s name, and a dairy of his online dealings with Armaghan was also recovered from the house.

Meanwhile, in a significant development in the Mustafa Amir murder case, two witnesses who worked at the residence of the accused, Armaghan, came forward with shocking revelations.

The witnesses, Ghulam Mustafa and Zohaib, recognized the defendant in court and offered comprehensive testimonies regarding the circumstances of the murder.

Ghulam Mustafa stated that on January 1, he was summoned to the bungalow at 3 PM, when he encountered 30 to 40 individuals in attendance. He asserted that food was being bought online and that they were prohibited from leaving the premises.

The witness stated that upon completion of work, the supervisor would summon us, and the entrance to the premises would be opened electronically.

Ghulam Mustafa reported that on January 6, a boy arrived at 9 PM and ascended the stairs, subsequently accompanied by the sounds of gunfire and a struggle. The accused, Armaghan, allegedly asked them to clean up the blood and assured them that everything was fine.

Case of Mustafa Amir
Mustafa Aamir was reported missing on January 6, and a kidnapping complaint was subsequently filed. The police subsequently apprehended the primary suspect, Armaghan, in the Defence area of Karachi.

A co-accused Shiraz revealed crucial details to police during the investigation. The individual informed the police that the primary suspect, Armaghan, enticed Mustafa Amir to his residence, where he inflicted severe torture upon him with iron rods for three hours.

“After rendering Mustafa Amir unconscious, Armaghan allegedly secured his mouth with tape,” Shiraz stated, adding that the victim was subsequently transported to Hub.

The car was stopped near a mountain, approximately two kilometers from Dareji. Shiraz revealed that Armaghan poured petrol on Mustafa and set him ablaze after checking if he was still alive.

“When the car’s trunk was opened, Mustafa Amir was still alive, and then Armaghan poured petrol on car and set it ablaze with a lighter,” revealed the accused.
