Observance of the death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam is being carried out today as the nation pays tribute to the father of the nation.

Today, citizens all around the nation are observing the 76th anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s passing with the appropriate amount of solemnity and veneration.

Having been born on the 25th of December in 1876, Jinnah was the leader of the All-India Muslim League from 1913 until the 14th of August in 1947 after Pakistan was established. Following his death, he was Pakistan’s first Governor-General till the time of his passing.

Soon after creating a distinct country for the Muslims of the subcontinent, Quaid-e-Azam passed away on September 11, 1948. He had been in power for few years.

With the purpose of shedding light on the personality and leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, educational institutions as well as political, social, and cultural organizations have been planning a variety of programs to commemorate this day.

For the Quran Khawani and Fateha, the Quaid’s Mausoleum in Karachi would serve as the location. In Karachi, the Mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam would be visited by government representatives from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds in order to lay floral wreaths and to offer Fateha.

Mansehra Archaeological Site: 2800-Year-Old Artefacts Discovered Through Excavation

Experts from Hazara University’s Archaeology department have found artefacts in Mansehra’s Kander Bedadi Village that date back about 2800 years.

Under Dr. Shakirullah’s guidance, the excavation process was completed.

The site has yielded historical and cultural artefacts from the Indo-Greek to the British Colonial Period, covering five generations.

A unique look into the region’s multi-layered history, encompassing the Indo-Greek, Parthian, Kushan, Hindu Imperial, early Islamic, and British eras, is offered by the finds.

Iron tools, clay figures, human and animal sculptures, copper coins, and pearls are among the artefacts that were unearthed.

Funded by the Higher Education Commission and the British Council, the project intends to increase awareness of the value of international collaborations in promoting archaeological research, conserving artefacts, and learning more about the site’s historical significance.
