A hearing on the appeal submitted by the recently elected members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has been scheduled by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for Tuesday.
Sources claim that Afshan Hussain, Shazia Jadon, Jameela Paracha, and other assembly members submitted the request.
The ECP has been asked to issue directives for the incoming assembly members’ oath-taking through the request.
According to the request, the province’s next Senate elections ought to be postponed if the oath-taking doesn’t happen.
