Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, “were on the run as of now,” according to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, following the crackdown on the PTI demonstrators.
He told reporters at D-Chowk after midnight that the federal capital will be in a regular state and that the administration would take containers off the roads as soon as possible.
CCTV cameras will be used to help gather the data of the trouble makers.
Internet and mobile services would also be restored, he added.
For effectively managing the situation in Islamabad, Mohsin Naqvi expressed gratitude to the police and rangers.
