The government in Islamabad handled the problem peacefully, according to Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Danyal Chaudhary.
“There was no use of force or weapons against the protestors,” he claimed during a news conference in Islamabad today.
He criticized PTI propaganda in this area and stated that no protester deaths were caused by government intervention. He claimed that the administration resisted the plans of those who wished to use corpses for political purposes by exercising patience and control.
He said nine hundred protestors were arrested from different areas, which included the most wanted criminals and thirty-seven Afghan nationals who were brought to incite anarchy. According to him, their goals were undermining foreign investments and halting the nation’s economic progress.
