Pakistan and Azerbaijan have committed to strengthening their economic connections by increasing their collaboration in a number of areas, including agriculture.
During the 8th joint commission meeting between Pakistan and Azerbaijan in Islamabad, Defense Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif stated that both countries are investigating new opportunities in the IT sector.
“Both countries are conducting joint research and strengthening their collaboration in the agriculture sector,” he said.
Pakistan and Azerbaijan are also conducting collaborative educational research, according to Khawaja Asif.
Speaking at the event, Defense Minister Vugar Valeh Oglu Mustafayev stated that there are numerous prospects for cooperation between the two nations in a variety of areas.
According to him, Pakistan and Azerbaijan value their relationship and support one another at all forums.
Regarding the Nagorno-Karabagh problem, he thanked Islamabad for its support and stated that Azerbaijan is encouraging defense cooperation with Pakistan.
